Scholarship Awards

On August 16, 2020, The Xi Lambda Lambda Chapter of Omega Psi Phi, Inc. presented two $750 Scholarships to two Rockland County college bound youth. The scholarship recipients submitted the winning essays on the topic:

“How will the COVID-19 Pandemic and Social Distancing Impact Your College Experience?”

Both high school honor students will attend four year colleges of their choice. The Scholarship Committee was led by Bro. Floyd Long and worked in collaboration with the Rockland Omega Development Fund (ROCDEF). The XLL Scholarship Committee and ROCDEF thanks Verizon as the corporate sponsor.
